This video was both very fun and very painful to shoot. Also, super awkward. Enjoy!

I guess I go to the same Crunch as Billy Crystal, because I found his script for this year’s Oscar telecast on the locker room floor this morning. I can’t believe it happened, either. Anyway, check it out. It sounds like it’s gonna be a really fun night!

Jest is taking it up a notch. Featuring Chris Maloney.
A really well made, funny video.
This is great!

Dan does an impression of “Game of Thrones.”

Tit
I think “tit” is the most common word wrongly typed during online conversation.
Also, Merry Christmastit.
Ghost Protocol
I just saw the latest Mission Impossible and really enjoyed it. The Press always focuses on how Tom Cruise does all his own death defying stunts, but they are brushing over a very underrated moment in the film: While relaxing in the Russian prison, Cruise casually bounces a rock off two walls causing it to come back to him every time! Amazing. If you don’t think it’s impressive, try it...
Homeland
Tonight is the season finale of Homeland. If you haven’t started watching yet, you basically have 10 hours from this point to catch up on every episode. I’ve had some TV show misses in my day (Flash Forward, The Event), but I promise Homeland is well worth it.
Also, Flash Forward was underrated.
This really makes me laugh.

You ever wake up and drive to the set of Community to direct a sketch with the entire cast? No? Oh right that’s just my Friday. Clearly this is me bragging.
Really excited for this video and also bragging.
Third the bragging.

Adam Sandler has finally done it. “Jack and Jill” has a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to get even 1% better. I have nothing funny or particularly interesting to say about this, I just find it fascinating. Will this movie flop or continue to make a ton of money because of his star power? I don’t know the answer, but I can’t wait to...

Really excited about the two Jest videos we’re posting this week. Here’s the first, “Mad Men Minus January Jones,” based on an idea by Kerry McGuire. It’s the best show without the worst part.
Jest is doing great work!

Here’s something neat we’re doing at Jest - shooting videos and turning them around in a day or two. This was shot Monday, based on an idea by Beth Appel.
Here’s a great video from the new site Jest.

If I can recommend one new show of the season based solely on the pilot, it would be “Homeland” on Showtime. I really hope it doesn’t go south after the first episode, because I really enjoyed it. So, go watch it right now! The second show I’d recommend would be “Playboy Club.”

Hurricane Irene is going to be SOOO pissed when it finds out Dave Matthews Band canceled the rest of his 3 day concert on Governor’s Island.
I’m disappointed in the Mayor Bloomberg 9:30 AM news conference - The group of silent men behind him are completely off-center, looks VERY unprofessional. Sure, the close-up shot makes them look centered, but we’ve seen the wide already CNN. Stop lying to us.

Hardly Working: LOL. David and I do a lot of IMing each other from 3 feet apart, and the audible vs. silent LOL issue has come very close to tearing our friendship asunder.
True Story.

I am lucky to know many great, hilarious and smart people and am always consistently overwhelmed by their work. Here is a completely random (and insanely incomplete) list of things I love on the internet that my friends have made recently. If you have not seen one of them, please please please…

a tip for all those who fart
When you’re outdoors and need to fart, I highly recommend doing it just outside a Subway. The restaurant has such a strong smell it’s like farting into a black hole.
Tomorrow we’ll discuss ideal clothing stores to fart outside of, namely Abercrombie and Fitch.

This video is 50 seconds of downright disturbing imagery, and I love it. Written by me, David & Sarah, and directed by Matt Pollack.
I’m very happy this exists.

I feel bad for Paul Reiser. There I said it. I know, I know, he has tons of money and once had a successful show, but his new show is doing awful. Really, beyond awful. If you need someone to talk to Paul, I’m here for you.
